Frater, a Spanish company founded in1988, was introduced to the UAE in 1999 by AW Rostamani Group. Its dedicated team has been striving to provide the most innovative and sustainable lighting solutions ever since. In 2014, Frater launched its first LED product line, beginning a new era of lighting. Our in-house manufacturing division, advanced photometric testing process, and quality assurance have remained at the forefront of the industry. Frater’s lighting solutions cover a wide range of applications, from residential and commercial to industrial and retail.

Frater is an ISO 9001:2017 certified manufacturer . Our automated surface mounting technology (SMT), electronic assembly conveyors, bending, CNC punching stations and powder coating facilities are just some of the technologies that contribute to our success. However, all of this would not be successful without our skilled and passionate workforce who handle and supervise operations. Combined, this ensures that only the highest quality products leave the production line. Meticulous quality assurance teams then inspect the products to guarantee there are no compromises to quality.

As a manufacturer, it is important to be sustainable. Part of being sustainable is ensuring that every product works at its full potential and efficiency. Recognizing this, Frater made substantial investment into an ISO 17025:2017 accredited in  photometry testing laboratory with a well- integrated combination of accelerated aging and life testing machines, integrated sphere, C-type goniophotometer and electrical measurement machines. The laboratory is one of the first of its kind in the Middle East and accredited from EIAC (Emirates International Accreditation Centre). Our dedicated lab technicians perform a variety of tests in accordance with IES (Illuminating Engineering Society) approved methods in order to produce the most accurate and precise results.
